New Grower Ikon Oxy Pot Question

Hi all might seem like a stupid question but im only a beginner . The motor is placed at the bottom of the pot but the plug wire would be submerged with water is this safe as I dont want to kill myself ha ha. Any help much appreciated.

by motor I guess you mean the air pump body ?.... If you put that in the bucket you will kill yourself:no:, unless its a fully submersible pump ?,,but you dont use them with oxypots ?. :hot:... the pump stays outside the bucket ,with the airline attached .To the airline you attach the airstone & that goes in to the water ... nothing with a plug goes in the water bro ...JUST the airstone .:eye::smokebuds:

In the item description on ebay it said that you place the motor/pump at the bottom of the oxy pot , whicj i thought was stupid .

Just have to get the thing started now .

can you throw up any pics of the pump & rest of the kit mate ? It could be a submersible but there not good for DWC ....would prob block real quick i recon ?.Any specs you have on it as well ?.

I bought mine on ebay & they came with little blue pumps ... looks like a beetle kind of thing ... is that your pump ?
