Hello, AFN!

Kano here. I'm a newbie Cannabis grower from the US.

A little about myself, I have been growing vegetables (lettuce and spinach) hydroponically for about 6 months now and have found it fascinating. And of course you can't research hydroponics without coming across the occasional cannabis-focused site or two. In fact, the most helpful sites for me getting started with vegetable growing came from cannabis grow sites such as AFN!

Now full disclosure, I am not a smoker but my wife is (big time!). And recently my interest in growing her supply instead of spending loads on it a week has piqued.
I know it's going to be a leap going from essentially a tricycle to a Ducati but nothing ventured...

I got a hold of some reg seed and am practicing with those a bit but I really want to get into autoflowers mainly. After reading Seymour-Buds posts (hope he's doing okay, btw), I've just ordered some Dutch Passion "Think Different" seeds from Attitude Seedbank today.

I, of course, will keep you posted on the progress and I look forward to any and all words of wisdom from you fine folks here at AFN!

For sure! She is a little skittish about me starting this little venture given the stupid laws in this country with regards to cannabis but a free and bountiful stash trumps all lol

I have a friend in the lettuce business.
He grows various 'exotic' lettuce hydroponically & sells to fine dining restaurants.
He has taught me a ton when it comes to hydro.

Dude! That's awesome. I hadn't thought about selling it but that'd be a pretty cool source of income

Update: The Think Different seeds are on the way from Attitude. There was a small hang up with my Money Order making it to them since Parcel Force does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. I contacted Attitude and they straightened it out so it's all good now. Impressed with their customer service thus far. I'll update when the seeds arrive and then start my first Grow Journal, woot!

Still waiting for the seeds to arrive. I have found that USPS is useless when it comes to tracking incoming international shipments. So instead of incessantly tapping F5, dying a little more each time , I decided to make a new avatar lol
