Hi guys,
Im a first time grower. This is day 45 from seed, 2 weeks into flowering. Growing organic with BioTabs. For the past few weeks my plant started yellowing and I assumed it was nute deficiency. I've started giving her organic nutes with NPK 2-5-8. But she continues to yellow. Should I do some defoliation and give her more nutes?

Im really worried since its too soon for her to finish flowering, and I'm afraid that in the next 5-7 days she will use all the energy from leaves and I will have to chop her down.

What kind of lights are you using and at what distance are they from the plant?

Yellowing and eating from the bottom up...nitrogen. not sure what the remedy is with using bio tabs, but 2-anything is pretty mild.

Im using HPS 600w light at about 1m distance. Cant put it any higher than that due to box size.
I wasnt expecting the plants to stretch out so much, so since you ask, im assuming it could be a light burn?

Temps are at 27c, humidity at 40-50%. This particular plant is a different strain from two other plants I'm growing in the same box, and these two are showing mild yellowing.

Im growing in 15L smart pots with BioTabs. in the seedling stage, I've put only one BioTabs fertiliser tab, which I believe is not enough for such a big plant.

I've recently gave her two times 10ml Bio PK from BioTabs, but yellowing is still there.

Are you using the recommended dosage on your nutes?

Yes

Everything points to that. I just need to know if I can fix this?
I have Orgatrex from the same company which is 5-1-5. Should I add that too with/instead BIO PK 2-5-8?

I'd pH the soil next. Looked back thru, i didn't see a water source and ph when watering?
I'd start there, soil test, verify your in the proper range and something hasn't drifted.
I haven't run biotabs, so not sure what would be compatible running alongside to bump the N

Lower older leaves sometimes yellow and die off and this is common.I would remove the yellow leaves and give her a half dose of 5-1-5 along with your bloom nutes next time you feed and this should give her some xtra nitrogen.Your light could be a little closer to 30 inches during flowering also but if you see any upper leaf bleaching or curling raise it back up.

Looks like a nitrogen deficiency, just had the same thing happen to two of mine. I flushed my soil and fed with twice the N i usually do i the leaves started turning green again within a few hours. They never fully went back to their healthy green color but it fixed it.

Im watering with tap water and I'm not checking PH.
With super soil and BioTabs, it's been said that I dont need to PH water:

"Your tap water will work,
Biotabs uses Micro organisms and Bacteria, that will lower the PH or EC by it self. Nature will make sure the right levels are available in the soil."

I cant lower the light because the temperature around plants will go up. Its at 27c currently.
600w HPS is very strong, and for the next grow I'm going to use some cooling tube.
