Grow Mediums James' first grow - DP Autoglueberry with autopots

Update - Day 43

I have been away for a few days so filled the res up pretty full. 2m/l sensi bloom, 2.5m/l cal mag, 1.25m/l terpinator, 0.5m/l silicate, 1m/l bud candy, 1m/l-10l drip clean. I have also been using the plant magic evolution foliar spray once per week.

I hope everyone is alright and had a good Easter.

You start seeing fan leaves like that you better start thinking about how big those girls are going to get. Like a puppy's paws, the bigger the paw the bigger the grown dog. Those are going to be some monsters.

Good morning guys,

I had my nans surprise 80th party yesterday so have not had much time to give everyone an update.

Reservoir was just about empty this morning, they are on 2m/l sensi bloom, 2.5m/l cal mag, 0.75m/l silicate, 1m/10-l drip clean, 1.50m/l terpinator, 1m/l bud candy, 1m/l big bud.

I have one main oscillating fan around canopy height, one high in the grow room. And one blowing air at the bottom of the canopy.

Temp around 26-27°c.

Flowers are really beginning to develop now and the plants are still growing at a fair rate of pace.

Did a foliar with the plant magic evolution yesterday.

I am thinking of taking the autopots out today to give them a clean as there is a bit of gunk around the aquavalves, does anyone else clean mid grow?

I run my trays almost completely dry by turning off the reservoir once every 2-3 weeks for a day. Then I can take the girls out of their trays completely with minimal mess. Then I scrub it all down and put it back together, while also cleaning the reservoir and lines before refilling it. Then before turning the reservoir back on I give them about 500 ml of Recharge top fed. Hope that helps.

I'm still in awe that you have been feeding those ladies a mix that strong and they seem to love it. I have never gone beyond 1.5 ml of AN's grow or bloom nutes without burn on an indoor grow. Very nice!

PS
Clean your auto valves above a closed sink or a bucket. That way if one of the yellow silicones fall out they won't go down the drain. Yes, I speak from experience, which is why I purchase 10 extra ones.

Hi Hemi,

Thanks very much for the advice.

Yes they seem to love the current feed, i cant really see any signs of the plants having to much. I am convinced the 315cmh lights have something to with the uptake.

I also PH every feed down to 5.6-5.8 despite me using PH perfect. It comes in around 7.2 without the down which i think is to high so the feed gets some down

I remember your post a few months back where you flushed the yellow silicone part down the sink.

Thanks for the help bro

Yea, I see no signs of toxicity at all. Actually depending on your lighting when taking photos they look healthy, but a lighter shade of green. That light of yours must make them gobble it up.

I would not use that at 7.2 either, pH perfect or not. :smoking:
