So I got back out to the river today, not a soul in sight since it drizzled all day. No problem with me, I like the solitude. Anyhow, get to looking around for a little trash to pick up while my spin-glo turns in the current, and I found this. Now, it's not a great picture, but I think you can figure out what it is broken in half...
And I got to wondering...
Then I got all sorts of fired up because I realized the trees in the background are an osprey and eagle rookery well within driver range. Stupid bastards make my blood boil.
So, I bushwhacked off to find a new spot...
Didn't catch any fish, but I found a clean spot with lots of cool things to find...
Not bad for a couple hours of "fishing". I guess you could say I found a little zen.
And I got to wondering...

River Avon is less than 120km from London... I will bring my flies, a boron rod, double taper, and find some kind of cool rocks lol and on a dual sport motorcycle that would be super efficient...

You sound like me when I'm up in the "creek" north of here. The town it runs through was built on an old Shawnee village, And you'll find cool artifacts a lot of the time if you look hard enough.
One of my favorite moments from that creek was watching a nest of long nose soft shell snapping turtles hatch. Cute little buggers... Until they grow the size of a dinner plate haha.

I am really not used to my tent looking so naked. This is as bare as that 4'x4' has been since I started using it.
Know what's funny? The seedlings in the smaller bags (3.5 gallon, and 5 gallon) are bigger than the ones in the 7 gallon bags haha.
