Anybody ever worked much with shade cloth in their outdoor gardens before? Thinking I'm going to need it with the Vegas desert heat come mid summer. But I'm wondering if I need to have it ready to go when the plants first go outside in early spring so they get used to growing under it, or if it's better to wait until the real heat starts kicking in. Thoughts?

I have used shade cloth but not for this.

You do need to "harden them off" first by setting them outdoors in the shade to get them used to the temps. You can use shade cloth just for this. Most garden plants need 3 days of shade at least.

I just ordered my 4x8 today. Can’t wait til my current grow is over - then I’ll put it up.

I like to give mine a couple of days out from 5am until 9am ish, then they get a couple days of morning and late afternoon sun. Usually after a week of this they can withstand a full day of sun

I wonder if the shade cloth would help them spread out more in search of light, since it will be partially diffused?

You’re making me very curious. I’ll have to check this strain out if I get a chance.

Yeah it is amazing stuff. I enjoyed the smoke... just amazing It was an amazing smoke. Acapulco gold with Acapulco gold oil and Acapulco gold kief. I was blasted to eternity.
I'm just worried about buying and getting hermies because I've heard theres a lot of hermies from Barneys from the few threads I've seen. But idk if it's just the few people who had problems are postinf and the rest are just keeping it to themselves that the strain is fine... I dunno...

Got a new buddy for the tent, keep the ladies company when I'm not home lol

And after a music filled drive to Portland and back I have some orders to attend to:

Feed fish emulsion to plants still going.
Wet down the pot from the Hijacks (which I sampled in my new steamroller, yummy).
Chop down Northern Lights.
Chop down Sweet Skunk.
Set up circulating fans because the temps hover at 78F without the micro fans up around the lights, want that number to come down a degree or two, preferably.
Modify a couple more buckets for a second custom tower fan.
