It's usually not a major issue but it's not the first time ive had a bomb hot day kill them before they rise...

I've gone all bucket of lobsters with germing over the last 12 months..

Used to use to 24hr soak in a shot glass plain tap water then into jiffys without any issue.

For some unknown reason I stopped soaking and had a few issues, then went to Ezyplugs and no soak and all was good.

Then I got a tray of EzyPlugs and had a germ 100% fail.. so went to rockwool cubes and mixed success..

Now on Rootit plugs with 24hr soak..

All seeds have cracked and shown a tail but I've lost my germ mojo :cry:

Pretty sure heat killed em, I took a look and only one has progressed..

Also haven't been storing seeds in fridge for a while (although most of these seeds were received recently)

I ams potato...




I gotta sort my shit out..

Hi Ho Stoners

I wanted to post this here as some may not see it in the battle threads, and it apparently is a very rare occurrence.

The breeder at "Bomb Seeds" says it is very rare, and only happens roughly in 1 out of 10,000 seeds.

I have Twins

1 seed produced 2 stalks at germination.... I still don't know if they share the same root (conjoined) or just twins (two separate plants with separate root system each).

I can't tell without potentially damaging the root system...

But, either way.... It's Twins from 1 seed.

I didn't want to separate them apart totally in case they share the same root, so I moved the stems apart as far as I could on repotting into an Autopot, and they now look like this.

One stem is definitely stronger / bigger than the other, but we will try and raise them both in one pot... New territory to me, so we will see how they progress

Fingers crossed that I can bring a 1 in 10,000 chance to harvest.

Has anyone else ever had this happen ?

I was thinking they made one for a 3'x5' footprint. Can't wait to see how it performs. I almost wrote them in regards to testing one but got sidetracked with family life.

I'm going to do a trial run some time this week and see what kind of heat it throws out...my tent with 4 autocobs runs about 77-80f with 8" exhaust fan running at 1/4 power. I want to run the new mars light...but damn..I feel like I got my tent pretty dialed in for great results...conundrum

Not a fun experience having 3 council electricians round changing your smoke alarms when you've got a grow on.

Thank god it's early and pre smell (bar the 110 day old northern lights hidden in a cupboard!).
