I remember heading north it wasnt bad, but coming south to the US is an hours long ordeal.
It can be an ordeal. We do it yearly and we work it so we cross the line coming to the lower 48 with an empty truck. With truck full we take the ferry (no customs) my worst nightmare is having them unload my years worth of groceries and all and walk away wishing me a good day:cuss:

A little while after Canada legalized, I read an article on line that quoted several high level Trump administration figures as saying they were going to "crack down" on mail and on Canadians crossing the border into the US to prevent large amounts of cheap marijuana from flooding into the country. I remember at the time, the Canadian PM was quite pissed off about the whole thing.......don't blame him!!
