After I decarb, I put it in the slow cooker on low and usually simmer it for a day or more to be sure, low heat and long time. I also add lecithin to it it seems to really help it kick in in half the time edibles usually take. I'm not sure how it would turn out if you didn't heat it tho, maybe someone else will chime in who has tried that.
