It's always fun to catch the moon and venus together...I won't be seeing them this AM :pass:

I'm about to buy a camera and tripod so I can take some real photos, this iPhone just doesn't get clear definition/contrast. I got lucky, its normally foggy or raining here, but it was cold and clear. Hopefully tomorrow morning too!

Just got out for a bit, doing whatever the hell I want, walking down the highway shoulder smoking a joint cleaning stuff up. Wake up lazy stoners, I know most of you aren't, but the ones who are at least go for a walk around your neighborhood and clean up cigarette butts and such to make sure they don't get into the streams that deliver life all over the world, and ultimately the ocean. Without that clean water you can't grow good buds anyway. Think about it. Just trying to encourage you all to get out and do something good for everyone, but only do it if you really care cause that's when the karma starts really flowing.

Cleaned all that junk up in like an hour, and found a rad spot on the map to plunk for steelhead and springers really close to home!

Wandered back into the bushes when I spotted one small cigarette box, and came across a few more surprises. I even left my bucket and trash grabber behind to enable the next person who happens along to have the tools they need to make a difference without any effort whatsoever, except slowing down and looking around. Plus I will just buy another at Bi-Mart and that will help a rad, small, local store out.

I even found something really shitty in the riparian zone, none the less. Battery intact and luckily does not appear to be leaking, but I did not have tools or a truck with me with a winch to yank her out, the battery or the rig. So I set the cinder block I found at the spot and am going to email it to the State Police, along with the GPS spot) and ask them to remove the garbage I collected and have someone remove the car. If they won't help I will find someone who will. I put all the car components that were strewn about back in the cab and picked up all the small trash for the pile at the road.

Now smoke a fat blunt and do some good in your hood!

Do you know the owner of the offending property? In my state, surely less rural than than yours, I would expect the city, county or state to maybe first ask the land owner to fix things, but sooner or later send their own team or our hire contractors to do the clean-up, including following expensive procedures for disposing of hazardous wastes (the battery), with a bill who knows how large sent to the property owner. So, what you've done could piss-off and be costly to a local land owner.
