So, as some of you may know, I'm a very avid rockhound, weed aficionado some might even say connoisseur, cleaner of the earth, and hopefully a generally kick ass artist to come. I also just acquired a new camera and tripod, but I like going free hand much better. Kind of missing the view finder and manual focus the old school 35mm always offered, though. Anyhow, everyone can use a pretty...

I keep seeing eagles, ospreys, and hawks everywhere I go, I don't know anyone who sees 15 red tailed hawks everywhere they drive, or a pair of bald eagles every time I am around water. But they are amazing critters, so I snapped a few photos for you all to enjoy.

That far off disturbance is a bald eagle catching a fish...

Just figuring out the functions on my new camera... so you have to zoom to see it in this next pic...

Now I found the zoom...

Then an osprey bombed in and took the fish from the eagle... and landed in a tree with it...

I whistled and she looked right at me. I always knew I should be a falconer ha ha

I didn't catch any fish, but the birds did, and I found some cool rocks including a wicked piece of petrified wood and some gorgeous jasper and opal like material. Even picked up some trash and mother nature put on a show to share with y'all!

Cool pics!

Its like they accidentally fall right off...funny how that works out!!
I am convinced that merely being in possession of finely cured meds dramatically improves my dexterity when working with mature plants.

I can't think of any other explanation.

You'll see a lot of red tailed hawks in my area. Tons of crows. You'll see 3 or 4 bald eagles out on the big river any time you're out, If you go far enough north. Ospreys are hit or miss. Lot of kingfisher, and blue heron here, too.

It's cause they feel your energy and they know the great care you took with it, so they trust you will do the same for them.

I don't know where you live Dichoti but I like it already! I saw a golden eagle the week before last, it's been a long time since I saw one in person.
