A couple other things that get people busted are their persona, and crowd they're known to run with.
If you act cool, calm and collected, and act like you're supposed to be there, You can walk down the street smoking a joint and no one driving by will notice.
Lol I do that all the time when I'm in town. Of course, it's usually only a gram packed into a black and mild or something like that lol.
If you're known to run with "gangsta's" or other sketchy individuals that are under constant surveillance, They'll bust you for a roach in hopes you'll roll on your homies.
If you're worried about a home grow getting busted, get rid of any and all kitchen scales. Only keep a small box of sandwich bags, and a box of freezer bags. Buy autocobs or other electrically efficient lights. I run 4 on a 19/5 schedule, and my meter barely moves. I think those and my fan add a whole $4.50 to my bill.
