These black bears are all over the neighborhood lol they are real prone to take advantage of our lapses in hygiene

black bears are less wary of folks than grizz, makes em more dangerous I think

I just saw netflix thing last night.............black bears have more crushing power in their jaws than any other animal in their size range.

In 25 years up here only 1 bad bear, a big grizz, and yeah, wouldn't leave the compost pile, charged me, bang!

True there are more people hurt by blackies and you can't see them in the woods...need to make noise there. They show up right here among the houses too

that one was tall skinny hungry and mean, became dog food, we had young berry feed black bear, and fat fall bull caribou to eat

We always make lots of noise in the woods here, too many 200-300lb cougars waiting to snack on you... We saw a black bear up on the huckleberry fields up off the Molalla River a few years ago that was real cinnamon colored for a black, and big, my sister and bro-in-law thought it was a grizzly for sure. I said you guys smoked too much weed, lets sing a song and pick more berries lol

I never would have "hunted" that bear, he turned on me and had to be taken out
