The way my plants get trained leaves a void in the middle where the canopy is lowest!

With your light expierience do you think I'm really losing much?

You are definitely going to lose some intensity below the light, but if you have good reflective surfaces around the room, I think the effect you are looking for can be achieved.

Maybe just get s cheap aluminum hood that bends easily and you could manipulate that back to get minimal hot spots below light.

Or just put some reflective material above light and that can reflect some of the lost light without hot spots.

Morning 6!

You are definitely going to lose some intensity below the light, but if you have good reflective surfaces around the room, I think the effect you are looking for can be achieved.

Work out the numbers and make a suitable hood connected to the frame of the tent with a portal that I can feed the shroudless globe from. Therefore being able to control how deep in the canopy the globe hangs while not limiting overall plant height which has been a struggle!

Sweet! The festival should be good this year. I should have a grow going at that time as well. Just starting one today. Seeds already germinated, on my way to the grow store to pick up BioTab system. Going organic for this grow.

Should be fun! At least the buds should be a little tastier. Jus to hoping to keep yield up enough to be happy. I am running six plants, so should be ok.

Exactly, use your brain man. You don't need to follow the books. Your situation is unique, and you know what the plants need for sure. Find a way. I have done the same with my make shift lights. At e in a couple years I will go and pay for some quality lights, but for now I have what I have, and I make that work out.
