Purple Ghost Pepper seedling about 35 days since putting seed in dirt:
Find it interesting that the purple is so ingrained in the plant and not just the pepper that even the very first leaves are purplish. Raises an interesting question for the LED guru's and @PlatinumLEDTom (since I'm doing my pepper nursery under a pair of P150's)…..
I've often heard in LED lighting discussion the theory that the green of a plant suggests that it is not using that spectrum of visible light, and hence the targeted spectrum of LED style grow lights using only reds and blues makes sense. With a plant like this, though, would I potentially not be letting this type plant with less green colored leaves live up to it's full potential with it not being the right tuned spectrum for it?
