Good afternoon from my time zone @Taipan and everyone else onboard. Just wanted to share a couple pics, first two were from saturday and my camera at near full zoom, freehand so not perfect, but I have never seen a molting (correct word in avian terms?) bald eagle aside from at the Oregon Zoo. That bird took off after after some red winged black birds dive bombed it and went back and forth on the wind over a farm house, though no more pics ensued. Also, before spotting this bird, I watched a peregrine falcon ride thermals and drift on a wing tip practically scraping the ground over and over, hard to describe, even harder to photograph I found out.

This one I spotted crossing the Willamette River at Independence, Oregon just minutes ago. I went back across the bridge and slowed down a dozen cars pointing at it. I saw a few thumbs up, and one clearly there is an idiot in every crowd. Hope you all enjoy. :smoking::smoking:before I :smoking::smoking: and then I :smoking::smoking:
