Sorry man but I have no idea how to get cuttings from it . Keep us updated if you find out how to though.

Hey @the green bandit you know anything about getting eucalyptus cuttings to root? Or anyone else for that matter?

My mom has this tree in her yard and her hubby has been working in tree nurseries his whole life, he claims this is the only tree he has unsuccessfully been able to get cuttings to root from. Is there a trick to it?

Greeting all, haven't been here in awhile, just want to and chill. Can't finish setting up my AutoPot res as I need one piece of plastic Going to hydro store tomorrow anyway so it works.
I got spare of pretty much everything, but mostly in bigger sizes...

Probably useless to help, but I have propagated a lot of plant material, just not that. And I imagine if her hubby is a tree guy he's already tried what I suggest. Buuuuut it should root at the stem, and root stim for woody plants should work. Maybe it is notoriously stubborn, as I recall this question from someone else (unrelated to the forum, it was a coworker or the like some time ago).
Now I want to go buy an eucalyptus just to do terrible things to it in the name of science :smoking:

I really gotta learn to let my heavy indacas go a little longer they're just not as effective if I don't

I always say “ if it looks ready, wait two weeks”
I grow mostly heavy Indica strains and go at least 20 percent amber and I’ve been known to take it 50 percent for sleep (24ct)

Evening LS . Saw an old post, an couldn’t lay off. Yup, got the itch, still snow on the ground and I’m prepping the starters for veggies. I had to buy a t5 to stick in the living room until there is space in my tent. Canna takes precedence.

Also going to encourage everyone to consider the Outdoor grow battle which starts May 1. Should be lots of fun and an opportunity to do auto or photo plants with weather, bugs, critters all in the mix. Keeps it interesting

Not sure I could have planted outside then Probably wont transfer to outdoor till the 20th
