‘Lo all, feeling a tad sorry for myself, new car got smoked in a parking lot, but the good news is the lady left a note on it. There are still honest people with integrity in this world. Still it was the first new car I’ve owned and I’m not sure how value degrades if it’s in the record it was damaged.
Anyway there are much worse happenings in the world I’m just drinking tequila and moaning :woohoo1: (that’s me driving home on the highway with the wind howling through the doorframe) :face:View attachment 1033262 View attachment 1033263

Good girl ,looking on the bright side

It would only effect resale if it was classed a right off,

Tequila slices through many worries :smoking:

That really sucks!

As for the devaluation of the car, I think it depends on the extent of the damage and (perhaps more importantly) what had to be done to repair it.

Not TOO sure, since it's been decades since I've had to look into something like that.

Thanks peeps, I figured it had to be written off to come up on a report, the 'ol man is worried about that but insurance will sort it out.
It's just a car, and besides, it'll just polish out right? :crying:
She backed a huge old Ford van into it, 'twas a battle wagon took out some fine German engineering. I think she put it in reverse and gunned that 'ol V8
