Joe's new grow.

So I soaked a red dwarf seed this morning at 7:00 AM. I tapped seed and it sank at 11:00 PM. It probably would have sank way earlier but I forgot about it. Seed is now in paper towel and in a plastic container. As soon as it splits it will be going in a #2 nursery pot. My base soil is a mix I am working on. The base soil is 1 bag of roots organic mixed with 1/2 gallon steer manure and 1/4 cup of garden lime. I will be putting this under a 600W HPS with a plant that is already at day 40 in a hotter mix. Trying to get a perpetual grow going were I am starting a plant every 35 days under my light tell I can get a tent. I only have space for 2 plants under my light as of now and want to be growing 4 plants all about 18 days apart in a grow tent eventually. My plant will be in the base mix for about 30 days before I transplant in to a #15 nursery pot half full of an experimental mix in the bottom half with the base in the upper half. The bloom mix consists of 1 bag of roots organic soil mixed with 1/4 of a #1 pot full of steer manure, a full #1 pot full of mushroom compost, 1/4 cup bat guano, 1/4 cup kelp meal, 1/4 cup lime, 1 table spoon of Epsom salt, 1 teaspoon of humic acid and once it arrives in the mail will have 1/4 cup green sand too. I never do a good job of documenting my grows from beginning to end so maybe this will be my first beginning to end grow. I am expecting to only have to add water the whole grow like my current grow and my mix is a work in progress. I had too much nitrogen last mix so I cut the manure in half this mix. I will be making room by moving my purple kush to my 250 CFL to make room for this plant as I am just using it for hash and the red dwarf is for smoke. Will be using bottled water whole grow.

Had to do some editing to my post as I forgot a few things and had a few spelling errors. I am sure there are still some spelling mistakes as far as me using the wrong words but at least I think every thing is spelled correct. Thank god for spell check on every thing these days.

So I checked on the seed at 4:30 AM as I work grave yard and am up at weird hours hahaha. I planted in to a #2 nursery pot and put the pot in the grow room. I normally put plastic wrap on top of the pot or a cup but all I had was a small bowl so that's what it got covered with. Now we wait for it to break the surface. Should be about 2 to 3 days.

It sprouted yester day but I was off to work and did not have time to post a pic. I think I will try to post a pic once a week.

So I got my green sand in the mail and decided I would add 1/4 cup to my bloom mix and ended up putting about 1/8th cup in my veg mix before I realized what I was doing so there is 1/8th in my veg and 1/8th in my bloom. I am hoping the green sand dose not alter my PH much as it contains a lot of silica.
