Grow Mediums Kosher Doing Coco!

Hey guys,

Finally the day has come first coco-run, for now i started 1x DarkDevil bean just to feel the taste of coco before i pop the rest by the end of my current soil grow..

Gear:
600W Dual Spec
1 gallon pot drilled some extra holes at the bottom-sides
coc-perlite
2 layers of hydroton - bottom/top
CANNA COCO FULLSET
ATAMIBLOOMBASTIC
RIPEN


I washed the medium with ph`d 5.7water + rhizotonic at EC of 0.55 just to get the medium ready, i transplanted the seed into the rockwool after it poped and rooted.

Nothing much to say just hoping to learn alot thorugh this grow, of course with your support guys this is my first coco attempt so you can shoot it all at me, anything seriously@!

omg omg omg omg. Your going to freaking love it. Read up cause some guys water them like soil some water them like me.. As much as Fin possible.

I like to give a wet and dry cycle at the start to get the roots to search out because in coco when watered a lot they don't. So once they get a good root system... watering 3 times a day, proper hum and temp. Your gonna be shitting yourself.

Best of luck! Nice touch on the hydroton on the bottom. I would of left the top bare for now just to get used to seeing how it dries, color changes, etc. It pools easy and makes veins when watering so water outside in in a circular motion...

Sorry I just saw lol. I replied with more info. I think I know a lot . but I don't. But I have really good luck with coco.

coco w 25% perlight with 24/7 drip. .8 EC

Looking real good cb, what nutrient set are you running through the grow?

That was an old grow. I was using canna coco. That's it. Nothing else.

Thats calming.. i got growtek cal-mag and cannaFE 0.1% just in case.. you know..

I just took my Bloody Skunk to the lab today for testing Turpur Coco VS 50% Happy Frog and 50% Bttanicare Coco Mix. The all turpur came out quite a bit darker with a deeper grape smell. Evey thing else was the same except for the grow medium. The results will influence how I do my next grow.
