Hi people,

Hopeing i could get some help on these autos.
Growing, are all mephisto genetics.

Report template is further down

My ph is between 6.2 and 6.7.
Temps are between 22c and 28c, although last week it went down to 16c for a few days, dont know if that's to play a part?
Growing with growers ark and bio bizz light mix soil under 2 600 hps.

Been noticing necrosis on all plants and different strains. They all seem to be showing the same problem. Looks like it's starting on older leaves first eventually crisping them up. With brown to bronze and yellow.

If you need any other information please let me know as I don't want it getting out of hand.

Please find pictures attached

More pics of full plants further down

Thank you in advance

Do you have any pics of the full plants?

Looks like lockout from nutrient toxicity, but why didn’t you take pictures of the whole plant? That would be much more useful for diagnosis.

The purple leaf stems and starting on older leaves also supports over feeding. Reduce feeding amount by 50-75% and make sure to fertigate at least 20% for the next few waterings.

It is also possible you need calmag, this could be contributing to the issue, but is probably not the main problem. The calmag in the soils you are using should carry you into flower, but they will need more calmag during flowering.

PH ranges matter of course, but an EC meter would be more useful to help you understand your inputs better and get on a good feeding schedule.

happy growing!

We need pictures of the entire plants in regular daylight 5000K (best) or flash.

Sorry guys, completely forgot to put up the whole plants.
I hope the pics are okay. I took quite a few haha.

Thanks man. Thing is, I've hardly fed them. Only went up to 1.5ml a litre with the grow and ive just changed to flowering nutes and only done 1.5ml a litre with that also. No additives added other than root stimulant. And some extra traces that comes with the growers ark schedule.

Maybe give them a plain water next watering.
That's another thing. Maybe I have over fed by feeding them every watering?

Pics here too
As you can see, most of them are showing the same symptoms. Anything else, let me know.

Thanks

fill up the report template, we need more info.

my first guess would be they're actually underwatered and defo not having the good nute ratios:
first of all seems you're not on good NPK ratio for flowering:

Flower stretch
(starts when it stretches, ends when it stops stretching and has budsites with white hairs, very tiny green buds at the base of the hairs) = NPK 5-10-7

Mid flower
(after stretch, when putting on bud mass) = NPK 6-13-14

secondly you might be locking out some of the P or K with too much Cal or Mag (either in the water or already built up in the soil):

I am ferting my autos right now with some EC ~2.5 or smth in AllMix soil.
as long as they get good VPD they complain only by out-stretching and out-budding my measly tent.

the amount of nutes they get would probably make pros faint, but I went there just because I suspect I made soil heavy with CalMag water (over the course of a month!) and now I fight fire with fire. seems to work.

like I said though, need a record of what you did the last few weeks also EC / TDS your base water you might find some answers there.

Problem: as above

Medium/grow method: bio bizz light mix

Feed: and supplements used:
Growers ark hard water range. Used grow nutes, slowly increasing the amount from 0.2ml a litre up to max of 1.5ml a litre. With the extra traces at 1ml a litre. When the stretching was almost over I fed 1.5ml of grow and 1 ml of bloom. After that my last feeding was 2ml a litre of bloom, 1ml a litre of extra traces and 3ml of root stimulant. I have fed them every watering since about 2 weeks in.

water source: Tap water which is attached to whole house filter which consists of a carbon block and chlorine reducer. Tap water after the filter comes out at 7.8 ph. I then lower it between 6.2 and 6.8

Strain/age:
Haven't kept up to date this time round but im guessing about 5 weeks in

light used:
2x 600 watt hps

Climate: between 22c and 28c
Rh is between 40 and 55.

Symptoms appeared right after the stretch. I dont if its because I gave them 1.5ml of grow and 1ml of bloom just before the stretching ended?

Thanks bro. Im pretty sure I havent been underwatering though. I know I definitely overwatered early on though. I usually water ever 3 days. Sometimes 2 depending on pot weight and how got the tent has been. That's with food everything too.

get some ppms on that water you use as the base for everything

especially since you're filtering it, you might actually need the CalMag.

BioBloom doesn't have good NPK ratios. check what I wrote vs what you have on the label.

I do full Biobizz line but at bud-mass stage I prefer to use BioTabs PK.

how often do you water, how much and how big are the pots?

I'm using growers ark nutes bro. Specifically designed for hard water as I live ina hard water area. My ppm used to be around the 600, 700 Mark before the filter
Sorry for confusing with grow and bloom lol
Also, growers ark contains cal mag, I just checked their site.
Last time I checked my ppm after the filter it came out around 250, 300 ppm

I water every 2, 3 days depending on weight and how hot the tent has been and they are in 3 gals

250-300 still might be CalMag heavy. so maybe bump the rest of the nutes to compensate?

I'll let the elders weigh in on this as well
