Looking forward to your next attempt @budelee!!

ok the things i read that you didnt do that i do are.. when you fill the jars before putting them in the PC put a layer of DRY VERM at the top about .5-1" this serves as a filter so no bad spores can get into your moist nute rich substrate.(unless you did this and just didnt type it
your jars also looked packed tight.. you gotta leave gaps and stuff in there for air to get in there.. i believe this and your substrate may have been a little too moist... this can halt mycellium growth heres the exact video i used when i did my BRF Cakes. its a series so just watch and follow all the steps and you will be fine my friend... if you need anything else tag me and ill be right over!.

Thanks bro!! I did use the verm at the top ,this time I have the brown rice and will make sure it's more coarse than the last stuff, last time it seemed dry to me but I won't make it any more wet that the recipe calls for..ill watch the vids and read some more before this weekends attempt..peace

I'm no master. When you want to maoe some l.c hit me up. I like the .5 pint jars. They grew fast and I have loads of those jars empty for making more l.c. l.c is great cause no more spores to order.
Good luck bro. Trips got you handled for now it looks like

Thanks @Roark I'll do that when the time is right,I gotta take baby steps ..peace

Mushrooms like their fruiting temps lower than colonizing temps. You def risk contaminated cakes/casings if your temps are too high. Just from my personal grow(s)

I was having problems with getting the pf tek perfect every time, so I switched to grains and haven't looked back. Wild bird seed is my choice, but any grain kicks ass if prepped right. And I cut my colonization time in half as you can shake a jar and redistribute the mycelium. With a good lc inoculation i can get quart jars colo'd in 8 days. Grains for me are quite a bit more prep than pf, but worth it. Hope your next project is successful.
