Hello Everyone,
This is a grow that consists of extra seedlings I had started for a couple other crops but ended up not needing them after all. I always try to germinate extras to be able to get the certain amount I need and in case some are not strong enough candidates. The problem with germinating extra seeds is that I always have leftovers I don’t need and never have the heart to throw them away. This last germination run I had 6 of Sawney’s Slaughter Lambs and 5 of his Lecters that were extras. Took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do with them but had time to think about it since they were already growing in the 4x4” rock wool cubes. I finally came up with a plan and thought I would do something different this time. Instead of placing the 4x4” rock wool cubes on a larger slabs like I would usually do, I just sat them on top of a 4x4x3” rock wool cube as their final growing media. My goal here is to hopefully grow 30-40 gram plants with very little root mass… similar to a solo cup grow but in hydro. With a little bit of training and a lot of pruning I think I’ll be able to create a nice dense canopy of buds.
Hope everything goes well.
