I bought a Lighthouse Hydro grow tent off Amazon, fulfilled by Amazon. Could have been a lot more discreet. The shipping label had Lighthouse Hydro on it and the box had 'Tent Size xxxx' printed on the outside of the box in two different places. Pretty obviously a grow tent if you know anything at all about such things.

I've got a sweet deal on a house I lease, unfortunately the lease says no drugs. The landlord saw the box sitting on the steps when he was fixing an outside light and now he wants to talk. He's a pretty cool old guy, but he's anti-drug of just about any kind. I've got my own lock on the basement door and he never comes inside anyway so growing won't be a problem, I just didn't expect to get tripped up by the shipping carton.

If you want to be really discreet then I'd look elsewhere.

That's really bogus :(

When I order lights from their parent company is says gotham products on the box, not hydro.

Send the company a message about the packaging, even if you don't get something for it you might help change policy and save some poor schmuck in the future.

As for the landlord, I'm in the same boat. Right now I have everything taken down and stored in boxes with the rest of our crap. I also re arranged all of my cannabis supplies onto the shelves with my gardening supplies. When the landlord and repairman visit now all they will see is some taped up boxes labeled bedroom or kitchen stuff and a bunch of gardening gear along with the garden out back that's growing well. That way nothing looks out of place. Then once they're gone, GAME ON!

Sorry to hear your security was compromised.
Just tell your landlord that you grow super hot peppers.
You know, the kind that make you shit fire.
Then offer up one. Guaranteed loss of interest.

Here's to a smooth grow from here out.:Sharing One:

The 'ol "Dazed and Confused" (delivery coincides with presence of authority figure). That sucks, man. I was a bit surprised when my lighthouse hydro stuff showed up a couple of weeks ago and it said "grow tent" with the dimensions on the side. The UPS guy just thought it was to get veggies and such started for the highly visible and huge garden area that takes up most of our back yard area. It's worked as a great cover - and we get a shitload of food, too ;) Hope it all works out for you.

Yup, nothing kills suspicion about a grow like a large garden. I'm known for NERDING OUT on my big gardens, so no one thinks twice when I drop a couple hundred bucks on garden supplies.

Skydog, from what you say, I think you are sweet. The old guy was young once too.
Do let the supplier know of your fears though. It may help others in the future.

All the best, eP.
