SP 3000 packaging from Amazon

Light came today and it does say what's inside.

I didnt see it at 1st, there is fragile stickers on it and a few other labels shipping and Mars shipping label to the US. Then I was taping box up to put away, and I saw this sticker from Amazon. Telling you exactly what is in the box lol. They did say it would so I guess you can complain. Although I dont like this at all!!! My concern is legal, but someone see's its a commercial grow light and they may decide to steal it. This is the 1st thing I have ever seen that Amazon shipped that's says what it is. I am assuming since they dont have a box for it, and Mars had no indication of what it is they need a label so they know what's inside for them. I get that, but slap another blank sticker on it after its pulled and packed. It's not hard I worked in a shipping department, we covered all kinds of stuff. They could still have a bar code if they need to scan. Just surprised they would leave something like that on box. I got my light and she is bright as shit so I'm good.

Mine had my phone number on the shipping label. I was like wtf.

I have asked about plain packaging on a couple of occasions, both from Mars direct and from their AMZ store. Both times I was advised that they won't/can't hide the contents description due to customs. I advised this needn't be the case for non-international parcels but the next came the same

Mine had my phone number on the shipping label. I was like wtf.

I ordered directly from Mars hydro. I contacted them about my phone number being on the label, and got “that’s normal” as a response. If anyone had opened the package, they had a direct line to me. They have to do much better than that @Marshydro. To send grow merchandise in labeled packaging is very unprofessional.

Maybe you are a guy that likes to grow his own peppers. Nothing illegal about that.

Yeah, and I did do a ghost pepper plant 2yrs ago. I was more worried about my buddy finding out. He smokes and is cool, I told him another buddy of mine grows and hooks me up lol. If he saw i was getting a grow light he would figure it out lol.

Hey, guys, all our products package is plain, no any picture or logo signed, not matter from mars hydro official website or Amazon or eBay or from our distributor. But there will be the different labels, which have the codes, the all kinds certification listed logos, and products name, or SKU, ship via UPS, FedEx, or DHL or other companies, there will be the shipping label, which with your shipping info (name, address, or tel number). If you are worried the privacy issues in your area, you don't have to leave the phone number when you take order, but make sure you will track the shipping status on the shipping company website and you are at home when the courier delivers parcels, we are afraid the thieves
