Right. We should be trying to recover as much energy as possible within economic reason. A lot of potential in this field I can feel it. You know with the plumbing connections it gives you great versatility to do whatever you want.
 
Here's my original water block designs.
The large one had channels cross drilled and plumbed like the side light lil ones

My chandelier was strictly done out of boredom. But I wanted to see if I can keep the cobs cool at first without circulating any water. Which they are hovering around 95°. I definitely wouldn't want to run them at a higher amperage. Also in a closed system you have to deal with thermal expansion. Depending how extravagant you want to get you could put an expansion tank in the system. Either way like you pointed out liquid cooled I think is the way to go.
 
I'm going to cad a design eventually that will change cob heatsinking options .

This will become common place once it's readily available.there's so many advantages over traditional methods of heat dissipation coupled with control of where and how that heat is used
