I dream about growing in the house. My wife gripes about the smell in the garage.

I've been growing for almost 2 years in the basement, continuous grow of 6 plants, and the wife hasn't noticed. I have pretty good ventilation now, exhausting 4' above the attic roof with a wind-powered 8" turbine extractor backed up by an in-line fan when needed. When the wind is calm the aroma wraps around the outside of the house, and she might catch a whiff coming in an open window in Summer. I blame it on the stoner neighbors. Before I improved the ventilation she thought we had a gas leak. She's an incurable gossip, so I need to keep the grow on the down-low.

I was venting thru the roof down lower than yours.
It was wrapping around the front of the house
She was worried about the Amazon and UPS drivers smelling it. Lol. I bought a carbon filter, solved that. I keep reminding her it’s legal but she won’t stop worrying.

Thanks, @InkAddict$. I got my house 30 years ago when they were still affordable with $8k down and a $340/month mortgage. I was looking for a friend recently and there's no way working folk can buy a house now in my ghetto 'hood, and rent is out of reach too.
