Lol it may be annoying at first cause it's slow but I think you'll come to love it pretty quick! Dry pockets from uneven watering will screw you up faster than you can figure out what's happening. Been there, done that lmao

I struggle with the 6 vs 8 main. Like you said, depends on the strain and growth. I lean more to 8 just in case I snap one while LST.

With taking the first and second nodes I feel like waiting to top after the 6th is *risky* for me lol. I like the distribution I get with 6 a lot, and with the way I cram my tent those two less branches per plant makes I big difference in light penetration and airflow. Plus less to trim lmfao
