So I gotta ask. Digital wireless microscopes....I got one but I cant ever seem to keep the thing still enough to get a clear focused shot. How are you guys doing it? Yall got like stands you set the microscope on so you arent actually holding it?
It does not matter what tool you use, that level of magnification needs solid support. If you want to get the best out of it, get it on a tripod or similar. One peep here actually made a telescopic arm attached to their tent to hold the thing, and it worked a treat.
Not to mention I cant tell which way the freaking lens is oriented. Every time I tried moving it to line up a shot the image never moved the way I moved the scope.
That was my biggest frustration with the Carson microscope option, along with the issue of holding the damn thing steady. I gave up on it. Ditto the loupe. I now do all the detailed stuff with macro camera gear on a tripod. If I didn't have the camera gear already, I would have rigged up a wireless microscope on a tripod with a macro rail. Tripods are cheap in many used junk stores, and macro rails are cheap enough on Amazon.
