It's state by state here and still not federal unfortunately.
Still here in Massachusetts it was sorta step wise IIRC. They first decriminalized it making it a misdemeanor.
Then they opened it to medical I think.
From there the writing was on the wall cause the state must have realized wow we can tax the shit out of this and make a buck .
Personally I say go for it tax just as long as I can grow my 12 plants legally.
I wish it would pass federally cause I still have friends getting piss tested and that have been threatened if they fail again they're gonna lose their job.

And in Florida when we come close to getting it on the statewide ballot....they come up with new rules, then invalidate our already collected signatures, so we have to start at Zero again....but we are still trying....but we recognize the delaying tactics are just so they can get things in place so them and their friends can make money.

Exactly its always about the money! It used to be here they were so high and mighty you couldn't even shop on a Sunday.

Now not only can you shop on Sundays (and holidays) and buy beer, we got weed and you can go to casinos. Cause someone's turning a buck lol

And I'm ok with that I like buying beer on Sundays and being able to grow. It's just a bummer some one has to realize they can profit off it b4 they do what they should have 50 years ago in my opinion . Just an opinion and it don't mean I'm right

Same thing in wisconsin. Our governor used legalization to get his votes, as soon as he got any kind of resistance for the legalization bill, he scrapped it and hasnt made an attempt to unroll a new one.
