There's 2 places I want to hit out that way hopefully this summer. The first is the Hawks nest look out and ride 97 along the Delaware river.
The 2nd is the old Rhinebeck aerodrome to see the museum and watch them dogfight the biplanes and the fokker. Maybe even do the ride barnstorm ride in I think a D-25 along

Best to take the ride on 97 on a week day, the weekend is nothing but wall to wall, bumper to bumper flatlanders who have the driving skills of a spastic gorilla.....

Rhinebeck is a fun place for airplane buffs!
