You can gèt nitrogen fixing bacteria by sprouting handfuls of legumes in aerated water & watering it in I bet
I notice they spit out a bunch of gunk when sprouting could this be a passing on of the mother plants microbiome? The seed being inoculated in flower stage

I ordered 2 native praying mantis egg sacks, online.

I thought first of all, my kids will think its cool as hell watching them hatch. And then, I'll put them in my garden. Plus, some googling tells me that they eat fungus gnats, so I'll introduce some to my tents, I think that would be cool as heck.

I bet they'll love that. Theyre cool . I catch em chillin around here. Im always check milkweed when im walkin cuz i see em there a lot.
