There is a rule in place, honestly. That rule is, don’t buy frozen fried chicken. Plus it’s terrible. Honestly, the fried chicken at the grocery store deli is usually pretty damn good, and usually fresh around meal times. Priced well too. And it’s way better than frozen…

Very true it is the only frozen chicken we eat. The breading is what’s hard to copy wife has gotten pretty good with homemade tenders guess I need to get her to do some home made banquet

I’ve been buying Ducky 10lb bags of leg quarters. Cheapest meat at Wally World.
Boil it and mix with rice, sweet potato chunks and peas and Carrots. A six pack of Iam’s chicken and rice canned food is 14 bucks. The 10lb bag of chick is $7.70.
