So first off, a big fuck you Wisconsin. Had to get that out. The laws and politicians here are really getting to me on a molecular level. I'm shelling out $4000+ for a lawyer because they're trying to charge me with a felony on second offense possesion. Enough rant. What I'm looking for is advice from Oregonians. Eventually I'd like to get a plot and start a settlement, but gotta start small and get to OR first. So- I've been looking around online at rental listings- but my question is do the landlords care if you smoke/grow within state laws?

Really I'm more of a ask for forgiveness than permission- but I also am not moving to a legal state to have to watch over my shoulder all the time. I heard Eugene is a liberal area. Read hippie central! I might find a property and start there where the landlords have a better head on pot

I'm from Oregon born an raised I live 20 miles from Eugene an have spent most of my life in lane county.Oregon is awesome no doubt an laws are liberal but with a medical card I can only grow 6 plants an 4 rec that's really a low plant count.

Six per person 4 rec .If there's more then 12 plants you need special registration. Some places won't allow medical grows as well I live in one but my grow is preexisting before they took over so it is really one of a kind but believe me I had to fight for the right an was harassed until I succeeded .

Not sure of the property rental stuff in OR, but here in Ca landlords for the most part aren't keen on it. Local city govs try and restrict... can't grow without city license...random fire inspections...
same rules still apply... no smell no sell no tell.
Unless of course, your a big op ready to grease city hall...

Hope things work out for you Delta ! I am also planning on selling my home soon & moving to a Legal state only I was thinking of Colorado. Guess I better start researching the laws there also. You can grow here in AZ. but I think it's only 4 plants, you have to have your Medical Card & your grow has to be 25+ miles away from any school. So that makes it quite tough to do unless you want to drive 75 miles to work every day. Too many restrictions !
My feelings are if you have your card you should be able to grow 4 plants in the privacy of your own home no matter where you live. Maybe not be able to grow outdoors (I could see that as they know someone would get into your stuff). Making you live 25 miles away from a school to grow outdoors makes perfect since to me. But to make you live 25 miles away to grow indoors is total B.S.

So basically if you live in Oregon and rent... you probably won’t be able to grow? It’s pretty lame that apartments or landlords would care but then again I’m thinking about that 1 personwho starts a fire or causes water damage from a leaking valve or something

Is it possible to just keep it a secret or is growing something they actually are looking for now since now that it’s legal it’s undoubtedly way more popular. Perhaps micro stealth growing can make a come back for people who are renting

How do the plant limits work over there? Could 2 adults living in 1 place conceivably have 8 plants altogether ? If so... Do they need to be in separate spaces or anything
