Being only a year back into growing I used what was available at the time...
HF, still using it, adding 1/3rd perlite and about 1/4 black kow, mixed well it get's them through 4 to 5 weeks on water alone. Tried the ff ferts, wasn't impressed, then MegaCrop using MoG's one part instructions, much better results, and now trying AN's PH perfect flowering nutes since switching to autopots ( will probably try MC in them as well). So far each grow has been an improvement over the last grow due to better understanding of the plants needs because of what I learn on AFN. And I gotta stress this point, water quality seems to be the biggest problem for most new growers and they figure if their tap water grows a few veggies it must be ok for weed...not necessarily.
