Hey guys, first time poster, first time grower. So I'm 3 days into my advanced biodiesel mass auto and I have some yellowing around the leaves. It looks like the baby leaves inside have some yellow as well.

My current set up is 50/50 ffof/happy frog, 5 gallon container, ph at 6.7, temp and humidity at 75.5 degrees and 35% respectively, one strong intake fan and two exhaust. PH runoff is coming in at 4.5. I'm assuming that's it but I'm not sure, no nutes added...

Help!!!!!!

Umm hmm if your water is 6.7 and your runoff is 4.5 it sounds like the ph of the soil is off, have you checked the ph of your soil?

No unfortunately i havent bought a soil tester, i'm going to pick one up this weekend. How severe does it look? I have absolutely no experience with this. Im learning as I go along, i tried asking my local hydroponics store but when they suggested pouring ph up straight into the soil i realized theyre not much wiser then I. Thanks for the response btw!

It's no problem dude, what type of ph meter are you working with? Also if it is to low dude instead of ph up use dolomite lime, apparently powdered will take a couple days to raise the ph though or you could try hydrated but be careful with it

Also from what I've heard dude ffof is a little to hot to begin with, not sure about happy frog, but next time I would suggest starting with light warrior

Yeah i heard about ffof, i tried bringing it down a bit using happy frog but i'll definitely pick up some light warrior next time around, i have some pineapple express seeds waiting

Possibly dude, I'm just going off what I've read at the moment never really had ph issues but there was one time I had a cal def I let it go for a week because I couldn't get any calmag almost killed my plant the sooner you can fix the problem the better. If you can't find the crushed apparently the dolomite lime pellets can also work for you.
