this is my cotc black gold auto, i am growing in a royal fab pot 3 gallon, with fox farms ocean forest soil and perlite and hydroton mixed in the bottom 2 inches like a french drain, keeps em from getting wet feet. this one is at 55 days from seed and it is lagging behind a bit due to a minor nute prob, fed my bg the white widow veg and she got very angry, i flushed after 1 day when i realized what i did.

after reading on here a bit im going to let this plant go till day 70 or 75 if she will go that far.and since im on day 55 should i start feeding nutes again untilaround 65? any help on this would be great. i am using the full line of fox farms nutes. well i have them all but dont use them all. maybe i will give it some big bloom until 65 light dose like 5ml or 10ml per gallon, keep the ppm low
thanks for any help.

Looks like a Job well done man. Nice job on the LST. Thanks to you. I know I can definitley manage to fit one of those in my small cab.

whats she smell like?

hello man thanx for the veiws and comments. alright the smell of the black golds is like a deisel kind of ting with some fruit or sweet smell under the gas smell, its not a bad gas smell just ahint. and as long as u keep some ventilation going the smell shouldnt get to bad. i grow in a tent and 2 feet outside the tent with the door open and u can barely smell it, but after u cure them they smell big time. if u are starting to lst it wait till its about close to 12 inches tall and make sure the stem or trunk is about as big as a normal drinking straw so it wont break. the key to lst is to bend very slowly and take ur time. never bend it more than it wants to go. the key is to be gentile and she will respond nicely, and when the trunk gets an inch and 3/8 wide she will drink like a camel, and mine likes the ph at about 6.3 to 6.5 thats where she likes it. keep notes on what u feed her and keep checking for cracks and breaks or stress bends where it will fold over on iteself and cut off the water flow to itself. i killed a few braches learning. the greatest of luck and in the end of the cycle the black gold gets very frosty, this one i got i hit it with my phioto period white widow from cali and put her in shock, she snapped out of it in a few days after a good flush and cleaning. good luck and if u got anything i can help with i will. im not the auto cometo guy but ive grown cotc seeds for like 5 grows so i am kinda familiar. thanks and keep em green.

here is a pix of one of the branches the bud sites in the last 4 days have doubled in size i think the swell is almost over or slowed down.

thanx, today after having the girls outside and cleaning the grow area, when i brought them back in they stink, it smell great, love it

Wow that was a greater response then I expected indeed. Thanks man. I appreciate all of that. I probably wont be growing cotc strains for at least a couple grows. Its on my list though.I am in cali but, unfortunately I’m restricted to indoor only. Then with taking them back and forth (outside/inside) there is to much risk of spider mites, or other infestations. My first grow had a gnarly spider mite army brewing. Definitely want to avoid that one at all costs. No fun lol.

The new pic looks good man. Looks like she is getting nice and fat.:Sharing One: :karma Cloud:

i feel ya man i bring mine in and outside, i just spray under the leaves and check for mites with a scope when i bring her in to keep from contamination. i would love to live in cali the sun there is unreal
