Extraction Magical Butter Machine... anyone else have one?

Hey guys,

I bought a Magical Butter Maker after one of my friends showed me his. Its basically this heater/blender that can make anything from cooking oil, to tinctures.
Works really good, makes potent stuff haha. Hell you can even make milkshakes with it using the clean function on it.

I made a quick video on me using it today, its not the best video but you get to see how its done!

A friend has one and they make a bunch of medibles. They said its great too. I'm oldschool and just use a double boiler. Takes a lot of supervision though. Would like to get one. Autobutter!

Yeah that's the same reason I switched, haha I would be stirring every few minutes because Id be scared its burning.

Northernautoman for posting about this product! Sounds like it's right up my alley! What's the deal with the magical butter 3 that cost $125 more? Going to save up and watch for a sale code from their site, they've posted a few sweet ones on their twitter and Facebook page. So your happy with yours? Does it do as good of a job as a three day soak in the slow cooker?

Hmm I didn't know they had a 3! I'll definitely have to check that out. I know mine is the 2nd... the first didn't have the "tincture" function.
When I would make Cannabutter I would usually only cook it for about 12-16 hours, and it would be a pain. But this you don't even have to grind your buds, you dont have to stir it, and in two hours it makes extremely potent butter.
Its a great investment IMO.

:dance: I couldn't help myself! The thought of all that time consuming work to make a product that never has zero consistency of potency regardless if same bud and amount used would be nice to make it easier with this machine, I had to have one. I'm really looking forward to this! I guess just to be safe I will still decarb in the oven. I like my butter super potent say an oz or two of flowers for a cup of coconut oil... Will the machine handle that? Also am so amped up to try it to make green dragon and some glycerin extracts. Saw someone soaked their bud in the alcohol for like a week first than strained and than put it in machine to cook it down... The quality difference was noticeable. Going to give it all a try! Can not wait to get mine! @northern why don't we keep this thread open for anyone else that had a magical butter or is thinking of getting one. I plan on posting reviews of each thing I make in it and will post them here in this thread! Would love if you did the same as well Northern so we can see what we both can do with this bad boy and compare notes and tips and tricks we learn along the way.
I ordered mine right from the site... As I read the ones on amazon and ebay are not covered under their warranty and with their Facebook coupon you can actually get it cheaper from the manufacture than the unauthorized resellers. Can not wait to see if this machine will really take a normal four day process down to a few hours...

I use an old crockpot on the low setting. Works fine.

@late Agreed. The slow cooker will get the job done. Though what I like about the looks of this machine is that hopefully will keep a steady temp and should cut down on the slow cooker time by two or three days for me. Also besides just making butter I want to use it for the green dragon and other experiments. Is it frivolous? Yes. Will it hopefully cut down even half the work and mess involved to me than it will be worth it. I love testing new canna toys and being a huge fan of concentrates in particular canna caps I just had to try it. Time will tell if it does actually cut the work and mess down (and smell supposedly).
So yes I guess you could just call this a very fancy slow cooker peace and will keep thread updated on experiences with it... Would love to hear more for northern , like what has he made with it? How much canna used? How was potency etc...

Oh yeah it'll easily handle an oz or two of goods and a cup of oil, there is a minimum line you have to meet, but that shouldn't be a problem with that much.

And that sounds like a great idea, the whole tincture process is a little new to me, so that will definitely be some experimenting haha. But yeah we should definitely keep this threat going, can help new people, everyone can share there tips. Sounds like a good idea to me!

By the way it still produces quite a bit of smell, haha not as much, but it's not air tight it still releases some steam.

So far all I've made is butter! I am going to use coconut oil next time, I don't know why I haven't yet!
But the first batch I made I used two cups of butter, and about 24 grams of bud, and it was extremely potent.
Then the second batch I made was about a cup of butter and 10 grams of shake/bud, it was pretty decent.

The stuff I made in the video I linked to this post was the most potent, but just because I used such a small amount of butter. But it's awesome using vaped goods
I can't wait to keep experimenting!

You can even make milkshakes with it haha, with the "Clean" function.
