Hi guys,

I'm about to start a grow journal in the indoor section but wanted to post here more specifically about Mars Hydro. I just bought 4 1200 watt (520-600 actual watt) mars lights and they will be going in a fancy new gorilla 4x8. Does anyone have experience running so many panels of this light and any feedback on heating issues? I've read nothing but good things about their product and they are affordable. The 4x8 I'll be running will be housing 15-16 plants so about 4 plants per light.

Thanks!!

Fresh air and Cal/Mag are gonna be a must...They will get warm with 4 of them.

My plan to combat the heat is multiple "turning" fans in the grow aswell as a good 6" adjustable CFM fan/carbon filter combo. Hoping to get away with passive intake but will reassess after a dry test.

That should do ya...... Your in good hands here. What kinda soil are you gonna be using?

It can be a little warm to start, so be careful... You might want to get some pete to start them in for the first week or two.

I have heard that transplanting auto's isn't always the best idea but personally have always thought it is a plant and should adapt rapidly. Have you had any issues w/ transplanting from peat and what size container would you recommend for that first week? I may very well go that route.

I have a total of 20 seeds and am still within legal parameters so with my theory that "plants will adapt" do you think the initial rich soil (no transplant)might actually weed out a handful of the genetically weaker plants?
