Mars II - Bought brand new 2 lights broken?

Hello,

I took everyone's advice and bought a Mars II 400W LED lamp.
Now i checked the lights and I have 2 LED's which are not working at all.... And I just bought the item... WTF?
Is it repairable? Don't we have 3 years warranty with mars-hydro?

Those are the IR LEDs. IR is not visible to the human eye. Your light is fine!

some leds are outside the range that can be seen by the human eye.checked specs ? thats specs of light,not your glasses.

Pops nailed it those are IR your light if 100% in working order.

and you do have a 3 year warranty if it was purchased through their web site 1 year if off EBay.

I am very relieved to hear this thanks for the quick answers.
I purchased it via. PaY Pal after chatting with a Mars Light rep... i hope I will get a 3 year warranty.
Did anyone ever encounter issues with LEDs? Will they ship a new product out if some of the LED's break in the future?

You probably only got a 1 Year warranty.

as for repairs they will send the part need to be fixed like fans or what not to you to repair yourself.

now if it's something with the Diodoes I believe you send the light back and they will complete repairs and re send.

the oldest Mars light I own is 2 years easily and no problems. And I dropped it last week re arranging my tent from 3-4ft and was worried I broke something plugged it in and not a problem

I've got 4 Mars Hy7dro lights, 2 are over a year old. I've had absolutely no problems with these lights. We have a thread here with a Mars Hydro rep so if you ever need help, thats where to go. The thought of warranty on these doesn't rvrn cross my mind!

pop you seem to be an expert as this.

I currently have 2 plants on a 3x3x6 tent. Bought this new Mars II 400 W and I have my 2x 125 6300K large CFL's & 3x 105W 2700K large cfl's.
Would it be smarter to add another 300W LED lights (i was thinking this one) --> http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6555773151.html?orderId=66355089584056
That way less heat (my large CFL increase the tent by almost 11 degrees.

Or is it enough 400W with the cfl's in order to have a nice yield? If I add the other LED will my yield increase or not do much at all?
