Someone Mentioned something like a Testers Club ... this would be a Awesome Idea. I knew this from my Time as Tester for Greenhouse/Strainhunters Seeds we also had a own Group on the Forum for that. Where only we testers could post or discuss stuff bout the unreleased Strains.

Your best advertising agent is your product so a couple thoughts in that. have a monthly " Customer of the month" program where you give a free pack of seeds to a random customer. Word of mouth for things like this are amazing. " Dude! They gave me a free pack of seeds for no reason"!.............lol! Monthly give away "contests" are also a nice tool. Advertise that you'll give free packs of seeds to 2 or three people each month, who register and buy at your site.

For the club idea, you could ad loyalty bonuses too. Club members who spend X amount of dollars (etc ) get extra freebies.

sure pop we are already running promotions, and will have a structure in place for freebies.
the random pack giveaway is something we'll think about.
or if we get enough people growing Mephisto we could have a best photo/image giveaway every. We just want to get people involved at the site and make it a place people can spend time happily.
we'll set up a discount promo code for AFN users, and continue to give extra bonuses to you guys. But the idea of the club was to really reward loyal customers on an extra level.

sorry for confusion; I'm talking about the future new Mephisto genetics website. Of course it's not going to be a forum , our forum home is here at AFN.
But yes it's awesome to have a kind of 'think tank ' and chinwag with you guys here.

Would love to be apart of something like this. Mephisto Genetics Autoflowers are the bomb and so much fun to grow. They are amazing! Every few months I definitely see myself ordering some Mephisto gear... So I would benefit from this type of idea! Kudos... Hope it works out!

And growing Mephisto gear is already a special club, open to anybody searching for quality.

Adding a "members only" club? Not sure about that.
Public grow journals are great to help new growers decide which of 30 Mephisto strains to grow.
Reserving info for the elite members? Not sure, but I understand the good intentions.

A special group of big seed buyers, with extra perks and privileges, hmmm...
Already some of that on AFN, not sure the good intentions balance the conflict of interest.

Loyalty programs. Aren't those really about collecting customer data. You get a free toaster and they get to profile, analyze and sell your shopping habits. Buying flavored condoms, must have a hot date.
Buying CBD strains, must have medical problems... cancel their insurance and mark them "do not hire"

A database of customer names, addresses, buying habits... is just begging to be hacked.
The address of big growing operations is valuable info. How solid is Mephisto internet security? Does Mephisto want to be in the data security business? It is a nightmare. If you have a data breach how would you know?

What the heck, let's see if I can get another foot in my big mouth:

I started growing Mephisto to get auto versions of the best variations of famous weed:
Bubblegum
Ghost Train Haze
Triangle Kush
Alien OG
The White
Chemdog

That list still gets me excited.
Mephisto is a chance for the little guy to grow the best variations of the best strains from seed to harvest in 2 months in a small grow room. How cool is that!

The many Mephisto crosses are a bonus, and lots of fun while learning how to grow, and some gems.
But it is the core strains that I really want to experience.

Hope this is the beginning of a long adventure together, Mephisto finds the finest examples of the most famous strains and I get to abuse the strains and their children.

Exclusivity of genetics is definitely of interest to me. I live in an area where you can get most any strain delivered or run down to a dispensary and pick it up! variety is golden. Let me know what happens with this idea. Cheers!
