Mephisto Genetics Mephisto Trident Special and Creme de la Chem

good LORD @Seabass !! please show me your ways :worship: what beautiful work second to none :highfive: looking forward to your thoughts on the smoke my friend and I wish you well with your spring 2018 Artisanals :greenthumb:

I am also curious like @komplex180 about your watering schedule... trying to figure out dirt farming myself this run... thanks in advance mate!!

Thank you guys very much. I had a bit of CDLC finger hash last night, she’s a black widow. Beautiful to look at but will sneak up and kill you. I can’t wait for the cured flower. :smoking:
@komplex180 Sunshine Mix [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] is great. Pretty much a blank canvas. Very similar to Promix HP. @komplex180 and @water farm about watering, my technique lands at the intersection of the plants needs and my convenience. Sometimes they’ll get a half a gallon everyday and sometimes over a gallon every other day. I only water when the pots feel feather light and only to runoff in deep flowering and even then rarely. So yes, I cycle from wet to dry but without a set schedule.
@water farm that technique should work just fine but do you really want to weight your plant everyday? Just lift the pots everyday and you’ll develop a feel for their weight. And as with most things, less is often more, especially in seedling/veg.
Hope some of that made sense. Just had a bong rip with my morning coffee so a bit spacey. :coffee: Happy to clarify anything if need be. Have a great day everyone.

Day 76. CDLC Harvest.
She was a quick enjoyable harvest. Big hard balls of bud with very little leaf. Super greasy, super sticky and oh so smelly. Her carcass lovingly adorns the bottom of brown paper bags. I can’t wait to give her a taste. This will be a long week. :woohoo:Dry nug shots and harvest weight coming up, as well as Trident Specials harvest. Tridents still kickin ass.
As always Happy Growing AFN.

OK yeah @Seabass you are very helpful there is no way in hell I want to weigh and water every plant every day if I don't have to lol so it is good to hear this from the horses mouth or in this case the plant whisperers pixels lol
Your plant grows, so weighing it on a scale would not be worth the effort. Your own 2 hands are plenty accurate enough. If it feels heavy, don't water. If it feels light, water. It doesn't take long to simply lift your plant, And you will be able to feel the difference pretty quick by doing it daily. Always water on the dry side for the first 3 weeks. Don't soak them ever until flower really, just keep moist. Peace, slow

so one question, thanks !!
when you say 'only to runoff in deep flowering and even then rarely'
Do you mean that in deep flowering you sometimes [or 'even then rarely'] water directly into a runoff tray and let it get sucked up rather than top - watering?
or
Do you always top - water and only to the point of seeing the runoff come out the bottom into the tray when in deep flowering [and 'even then rarely']?

in other words do you top - water ? or bottom - water ? or both ? lol I suck sorry thanks in advance bro :d5:

I only top water. And I rarely water enough for it to runoff into the trays. Until they’re in bloom it’s amazing how little water soil grows really need.

bro, just a question. How long do u cure ur buds to have the best smoke possible? Also, do u do an only water period at the end and if so, for how long? After 50 days of curing i wasn't able to get a 'good' smoke, at least not compared to some flowers i got that i bought (cured) and are no harsh at all. I also use an nutes, but i dont do 10-15 days water, just like 5 and then chop. Got a few coming down in a few weeks and will try out to have a longer water-only period at the end AND some flawless finish from AN, just to see if that influences the smoke positively at the end alongside a longer cure on jars.

Props on your CDLC man, hopefully mephisto re-opens soon so i can get my hands on a few of these, many strains i wanna try from them. Did 2 sour stomper a year ago (1 didn't pop) and they were fucking amazing.
