Edit: caught up now, I do really like the net pot and clay instead of the foam. Looks better and I suspect it'll work better

Glad you like it! I do this stuff out of sheer curiosity. I like sharing things that explore new areas in things I'm interested in. I really like all things Hydroponic so I'm exploring the spectrum. In the future I would like to do a Dutch bucket, maybe Aeroponics, wick method, etc. And, it keeps me outta trouble.........lol!

Update:

It looks like my compost tea was ok, the seedling didn't shrivel up and die....lol! In fact, she's looking pretty good! Can't wait to see what kind of growth I get from this, if successful!

YES!!!!!!! This is almost exactly what I want to do, I am going to use a tiny airstone though and try to make it a true mini DWC. The Mason Jar is PERFECT and the little kitchen sink strainer, you sir have made my brain stop hurtning. I am totally subbed in on this and cannot wait to see how this turns out.

I have a feeling this might be a contender for the next Cup Grow Off competition!!!

I too love everything hydro and am very interested to try out my new mini project!

THis is way cool, i am really curious about the roots that are dev. I am pretty skeptical that you will be able to make it to the finish with no air stone or pump. But that's the entire reason you are doing this right? to see if its possible. How cool would it be to prove you can grow cannabis in hydro with no air pumps.

I will be watching this
