ok so im week 6 plus couple days now in my first grow with a lot of flowering and just switched to shogun terror bloom from the terror grow , it just went bang and buds everywhere but now I'm seeing yellow leaves from bottom of older leaves maybe nitrogen?? I did my research what I could find on my strains ( fast bud gorilla glue and fastbuds GSC) and see in a few grows they used extra nutes I think it was bud candy which from what I gather is molasses , is it a good idea for me to get some molasses to add to mine to help the roots absorb the nutes I'm adding and fatten buds along the way ? I mean I'm just going by what ive read as I'm a noob but some seem to think it helped those strains during budding .
I am loving watching them grow though they get big so fast :) and other then the odd yellow leaf theyre looking great .
any help or advice would be great thanks .

I'm just taking molasses for a spin myself. Quite a few guys swear by it for just as many reasons. Some use every feed, some once a week and organic guys once every three weeks. I'm trying it in the middle, light dose once a week, hasn't hurt after a week but not sure if it's helped yet.

Sent from my comfy chair. Link to my grows.

I'm in coco and have been using organic Blackstrap molasses for around 2 years. The main reason I use is for ph purposes because I have filtered water. I use it at the end of grows. A week to two weeks. I haven't noticed any big size difference or taste difference.

I quit using molasses after reading that it has no benefits to auto grows. The grow is to short for it to break down small enough to be absorbed and be any benefit. However, mixed with organic soil and letting it break down over 6 months to a year, you will gain benefits from it...each to their own.

I use molasses when iam doing my watering, I use tablespoon and half per gallon of water. I use distilled water by the way. I use it to feed the soil microbs. I start using it around week 3 and to the end of the grow. Seems to work well.
