Question for the masses. I just got some mosquito dunks from amazon that I plan on floating in the res. I also have a container here of DE. As an added "get the hell out of here you bugs" defense should I mix some of the Dia Earth into my coco when I start preparing my autopots? Can you put that stuff in coco..and what ratio?

I sprinkle on a good layer of it just below the surface of the coco.

TEMP: 79 HUMIDITY: 81

Weighed the ladies and gave them their daily dunk in 1.5g/G of MC and RO water, ph to 6.0, and they all seem to be growing so awesome!! Cups seem to be lighter every day as they are getting larger.

I touched and talked to each of them as they had their dunk. I think plants do respond to vibrations of sound and touch. If anyone saw me they would have thought I was losing my marbles.


I am nervous to even think about transplanting them. Cant I just keep them in the cups where they are doing so good? ha ha.

Thanks lunar!! I feel so good that I got past that first week I had been having such trouble with. I also love doing comparison pictures to get a good view of exactly how much has transpired over time. Gotta tell you, I LOVE this weighing/bottom dunking. It is precise, comfortable, and WORKING! I dont question anything, just weigh, dunk to correct weight, and voila!

Thanks Cali. Why cant they just grow up in the cups? ha ha. I know I will have to deal with transplant soon, just afraid of that next step. I have no idea how to water once I am not dunking, LOL. My little ones in those large pots....oh my.

Yeah, at first they wrote back and sent to me to a webpage to request a sample. but that page didnt work. so being the pain in the arse I am I messaged them back and said your darn page didnt work, but I really would still love a sample, so what do we do? I almost freaked out when they asked for my address to send a sample. I was hoping I was not contacting a serial killer by mistake....LMAO!! (I mean, you never know nowadays!)
