Lighting My First Grow - Northern Lights Blue

not to shabby Pal nice one would stick to 1ml of grow at this stage with a ph of 6.5 in soil and it looks like the start of a wee touch of Mg diff you can rectify this with a 1tsp of epsom salts per 2lts mixed in a little hot water and add to your feed
but nothing to worry about mate , your getting there :peace:

Ps , Pal are you useing your silicon mate

Hey man thanks for the response. As this is my first grow I havn't use epsom salts or the bio-silicon yet, is this what I'm looking for? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arthur-Bowe...F8&qid=1367073408&sr=1-3&keywords=epsom+salts (I'll keep a close eye one the leaves over the next few days and order it if it gets worse)
Also I'm not entirely sure what the silicon does, all of the nutrients generally say it will increase size and yield, any ideas how I should utilize it? Thanks for the help man it's greatly appreciated :peace:

Also, a quick question for anyone that has experience with airpots..or just watering in general really :D At this stage how much should I be watering each feed? For example should I water slowly and continuously until there is run off? Or is it okay to feed a certain amount with no run off? So far I've not had any run off from feeds in fear of drowning the babies and this may be me just worrying about it but it's always safer to ask! Thanks guys :peace:

Yeah bro that's a classic mag def. I always feed them some mag around day 14.

Silicon will help with the structure of the plant. Will make it nice and strong, and above all the general well being of the plants health.

Go to the chemist and get them mate , are you UK if so boots have got it and get it soon how would you like starved of something you like , lol ,

i would recommend starting useing the silicone at 0.5ml per lt NO more not a drop more, do i need to go on its great stuff greens them up a touch and stiffens the whole plant up BUT stop useing it after the end of wk2 in flower as it will start to alter the taste and burn of your bud just make sure when measuring it do it with a medical syringe so your spot on buddie cant stress this enough Pal

I'll subb up and keep a look out for you mate will go back and read your diary from the start , take care :peace:

Once again bro, thanks for the comments! I really do appreciate all the help, this forum is awesome :) I'm in the UK so I'll have some epsom salts on hand for their next feed, pots should be dry enough by tomorrow so hopefully can resolve the issue before it gets out of control..is there a specific one in Boots that I need? It's just i saw some listed under the beauty section and then some under the gardening section, wouldnt wanna feed my plants something you put on your face :D I'll add 0.5ml of silicon to that same feed and see how they take it, I have Bio-Wetter as well - not sure on this yet but its says it helps with resistance to diseases etc, could be useful. Take care :peace:

001.JPG there you go pal its for human consumption so fine for your plants and dont use the garden stuff as im not sure whats in these mate, just ask the girl at the counter for them thats what i do

You can use the wetter at the same rate as the silicon at the same time as well but watch if your mixing up your nutes in lets say a 5lt bottle and give them a good shake as the wetter might foam up a little but thats fine, just to let you know Pal :peace:

Dude, loving all the tips, thanks for being so helpful, tomorrow will be a productive day for my girls :peace:

Hey guys just a quick written update - The girls have just shared 1L between them mixed with 1ml of grow, 0.3 silicon and half a tspn of epsom salts to hopefully combat the mg deficiency. Should I expect the effected leaves to recover from yellow back to green or just for it to stop spreading? I'll post a picture or two tomorrow, hopefully there will be healthy productivity over the next 24 hours. Also regarding the watering question I asked earlier in the post - I'm still only giving them .5L each feeding so no run off - can they handle more water? Don't want to drown them :peace:
