just want to know if anyone can post their opinion about these leaves and what's going on. It looks like bugs to me but he swears he doesn't have any or been able to find any. He's running advanced nutrients in pro-mix at 1100 ppm and it is happening with all of his plants in both flower and veg, which are 2 different rooms on different sides of basement. Any help is much appreciated cause im stuck I have never seen this before. p.jpgppp.jpg

holy shit that's crazy....have to be bugs wow tell him good luck

I have found a leaf more or less similar condition in my veg room, and have found out it is thrips, where the fook those have come from, i don't know.

Holy shit thrips !!!!!! those are some big ass thrips !

I thought thrips was more like thin white scratches over the leaves

Are you foliar feeding? those leafs look chemically burned or melted

I would be suspecting a bigger insect than a thrip - looks like you got slugs or caterpillars lol(seriously on the caterpillars check underside of all leafs)

I was thinking bugs too man. No hes not foliar feeding and I tested his soil at ph 6.3 and ppm of under 400. So feeding doesn't seem to be an issue I think hes got something different all I know is I should burn my clothes I wore into his grow

lmao - termites ? i dont even know if they affect plants

But seriously - id look for some light green coloured catepillars - those are some big bites which look like snail/slug or caterpillar but slugs&snails would be too obvious

You checked under the leafs? Some larvae only live on the underside of leaves

Also is there a dark cycle TD?

Some insects live in the soil when lights on and come out when its dark

The only other insects that would cause this damage (although rare unless outside) is weevils or katydids

Where are you from TD? Looks like Snails are not so unbelievable after all http://fcmosher.hubpages.com/hub/Identify-the-bugs-in-your-basement

Yeah hes got his bloom room 12/12 and 18/6 veg room both doing it. That's what boggles my mind. I told him to check the undersides a little better but maybe he should go in with flash light during dark cycle and see if hes sees anything

Check that link i just dropped in my edited post - identifying bugs in basement - might be useful to tell you where they could be hiding

Also he could get a bowl of water put some chopped bits of fruit in there and some sugar in the water - this will attract them to it - atleast you can identify them this way and then find the cure
