High guys, names Mike...New to the auto flowering got some 90 day wonders give them a try and liked it as the story goes ...Been growing for about 30 yrs gorilla that is..moved to Oregon last year got a medical card ..got some babies growing outside now those will done 3 the start of next month and the other 3 by halloween...but why I'm here I have no clue about autos ....I do know that I liked those wonders but my gross was small 5oz per 4plants so I have to go back to school an. learn if you guys can teach a old dog something new? I would greatly appreciate it.....I do have room set up with 1000 watt ready for winter... Nuf know Peace guys. Mike

Welcome! Everyone has different styles with great results. If you see someone with the results you're looking for, get some advice from them. You have to find what works for you. I think everyone's goal here is to grow some big autos! I see it done constantly too! Check out the grows of @budelee @stepside @The Elvis @Rebel @Eyes on Fire to name a few. Happy growing!

Hello! I have now harvested three runs of my little auto plants and they do work. I have been somewhat discouraged as some 'Pot Snobs' poo-poo anything they've not heard of including autos and water cure.

Now for my Newbie Question:

I have a 72.3"H x 47.7" W x 18" D chrome wire shelf covered in UV rated 6 mil plastic on all sides but one. That side was cinched up against my house over a southern facing window. Access is from the interior through the window.
I have set up DWC buckets and am growing AK47, Berry Bomb, and some others.

Now a couple questions.

Can I grow these little jewels all year round with existing light? I am at the 47th latitude and they come from the 55th latitude. Logic would say it is possible but I have no experience.

I am hoping I can grow year round w/o the expense of lights. (got one electric bill for 537$ OUCH!!)

Also why do some of the same strains grow taller than others? I have some that look like they're trying out for the basketball team and others that look like bonsai. These things seem to be temperamental.

Any opinions?

Welcome brother , 5oz per 4 plants does sound slim but quality over quantity hey

I think autos not much different from regs just strict vegging period and can flower under 24/ 7 lighting
