Sitting next to 4 newly hatched auto's I am writing an introduction. (hi!
).
in 1988 I grew my first cannabis, from seeds I took from pollinated Thai weed. I grew anything I could get my hands on. Later I 'Upgraded' to commercial cuttings. The Dutch weather was always my biggest threat. (Mold!).
After some years I moved on, got a job... etc. For three years now, I have the luxury of living in a house with a garden and a greenhouse. This was my chance!
I was blown away by the changes in the business (At first I didn't even believe something like 'Feminised' existed
), especially by the autoflowers. I came to love them.
I consider myself an atypical grower: Not the biggest yields, not the highest thc content. Just fun. No complicated chemicals in plastic bottles, no fancy lamps, except for a €15 IKEA lamp to support my seedlings.
I use potting soil, (dried) cow dung and chicken dung and my own compost. As well as willow shoots for the auxine (root stimulation), horsetail (lat.: Equisetum) for the silicium (general strenth).
Everything on a hobby-scale.
The fun is to try as much different strains. I now have a library of some 25-30 strains to choose from.
I have a special interest in the shaping of the plants, be it in a rack, fimming, pinching, bending, or shaping it bonsai-style.
Now growing: Auto Duck, Auto Mazar, Bubblegum auto and an OG kush auto.
Next up: Santa Marta haze auto, Killer Kush auto and BCN powerplant XXL auto.
