Everything that i grow
Hi All

I'm an all round newbie - new to this site - new to autos - new to growing in general.

I'm looking for advice with Autos. I have seeds for White Widow Max Auto, White LSD Auto, and Auto AK47. Not sure who the breeder is because the supplier did not give this information. The supplier is unmentionable as they are not sponsors of this site.

I am growing indoors in a 2x3x6.5 cabinet with LED lighting. I am set up for soil or hydro but I have no experience with hydro yet.

Anyway, all questions, comments, or otherwise are welcomed and appreciated!

Welcome Duckster :)

Your best bet is to go with a pre~mixed soil, like Fox farm ocean forest. Then use a basic 3 part nutes system and follow the feeding schedule. Soil is more forgiving then hydro, it works as a buffer for pH and feeding mistakes.

Then I would add some cal-mag to the regime or garden lime to the soil if your cheap like me :). Then Black strap organic mollases every other feeding. Since there autos, choose 18\6, 20\4 or 24\0 for your lights on\off schedule. (on a basic non digital light timer). I recommend 18\6 to save electricity.

Make sure you follow the feeding schedule because adding more is rarely a good thing. Keeping it simple is the best, newbies tend to overcomplicate things, dreaming about monster yields and incredismoke. Once you get comfortable, you can start learning about training techniques.

This is just my oppinion\ how I did it as a noob and it worked wonders.

There are a lot of very talented horticulturalists here, pick there brains and cruise some threads to find the path you would like to learn.

With a little practice & patience, you will be a pro.

Welcome Duckster,

You can name anyone you like, we don't have sponsors here. Just good friends. We are as independent as you can get. Nothing is off limits as long as it is within the realms of good taste.
I can't believe I said that with a straight face!

AFN is here for you and a warm welcome is just the beginning.

Heya Duckster! Glad you found us! We have a great staff to help you do any medium, nutrient and lighting you want to do. If you need anything, we are here to help!! Dont be shy, post a journal in the new grower forum. We love details and pics! It is ok, name drop on the beans!! We arent very hush hush around here on things like that. If fact, we encourage giving details about anything, but the safety of the site, and identity of yourself should remain priority!!

Many Thanks Green!

Thanks for bringing me back to an even keel. Your tips are almost identical to my thoughts of two months ago when I first decided this was a worthwhile project! Keep it simple - FF ocean forest soil, simple nutes, a little calmag and let them grow.(maybe a little LST). Almost identical to your tips.

My situation prevents the start of my project for another three months so I have plenty of time to study. After reading through so many journals its easy to start thinking "Hey if I do this and that, I can get 1/2lb from one plant no problem". Not!

Now focusing on the original goal of providing decent medicine for the patient (wife) (and me) with yields high enough to last from one harvest to the next. Possibly try hydro 3-4 grows down the road, may even phenols at some point.

Thanks again for the reality check Bro:clap:

Many Thanks for the Welcome Superweed & Waximus

Evil and Briman,

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm glad to hear that this is a "free speech" site. I'm here to learn from those that are more experienced and wiser than myself. Learning tips, theories, opinions on stains, nutes, the growing process, etc. I also think that it is important to pass along information on equipment suppliers, the equipment itself, bean suppliers, etc. Kind of hard to pass along good (or bad) information if the subject is not a sponsor. And kind of hard to be objective if the subject is a sponsor. Don't get me wrong I do see the need to support the site, but that type of censorship kind of defeats a portion of the sites purpose. I not talking about anything rude, crude, or socially unacceptable, just honest opinions.

I see that this site is supported through donations. A more noble cause, I can not imagine. Thanks again. Let the adventure begin!
